Aside from a bag of bbq chips, scratch off lottery tickets are a must for me on any road trip gas station stop. (And truth be told quite often on non-road trip corner store stops.) I love admiring the designs. I love choosing between the grooved edge of a quarter or the smooth one of a recently acquired lucky penny. And the scratching, I love the scratching. Of course I'm hoping for fifty bucks or at least enough to break even and of course I'm simultaneously and eternally convinced deep down that I and I alone will actually win a million bucks...but when thinking about it as I write this, what I most enjoy is that time between picking up the coin and the learning of the dollar amounts. The space between is all about hope; silly maybe but always accompanied by a lilt of the spirit, a skip of the heart, an expectation of chance. A beautiful thing, chance. Feeling like a kid again.
Even though I know what my own cards here say, I get that same feeling when scratching them. It's about hope I think. It's about something unknown, something big, something meaningful. There may not be monetary prizes to be had here at Scratch Off Greetings but there are prizes just the same.
Welcome to Scratch Off Greetings, where everyone wins.
Scratching away since 2014,
Designed by Angela & other fantastic artists who get a cut of each and every sale.
All components of the cards are made in the USA and strive towards being as sustainable as possible by working with paper mills who are FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) approved. Packaged in cellophane bags which are compostible, our envelopes are also archival and made with 30% post consumer fiber, our mailers are made with 100%. All cards are made with a lot of heart and good humor by a cool family of printers. Then they go to Angela's headquarters to be packed up, photographed, written about, danced around - all in all just properly celebrated…and then sent out to you.
Angela is also an artist. Visit her ghosts and various creatures here:
